Flute Reed Fabric
I’ve been curious about the fabric used in the real world, after I started noticing my original body’s garment. It has the feel of linen, but is feather-light. It’s diaphanous (translucent & delicate) yet provides warmth too. I asked what is this fabric? The answer I got was “flute reed” fabric, threaded with gold. There are very tall reeds that grow on the edge of the land as it extends into fresh water bodies. The reeds are hollow and sing like flutes in the breeze. Little birds nest in the oldest reeds, as the interior is lined with a soft, cotton-like substance. The artisans harvest the mature plants that soar twice the height of Man, and they use great care to take only the most mature, unoccupied reed plants. It’s the inner liner that is used by the artisans in preparation of the base fabric. Then it is threaded with substances for color, frequency, healing and other purposes.
