Suggestions for care
Our poor animals are subject to an abusive health care system in the form of vaccines, flea/tick treatments, substandard nutrition and other harmful practices. Learn to break the programming. Below are some suggestions for care of our animal friends:
Immunity - try homeopathic nosodes from a holistic vet in lieu of toxic vaccines. It is simple to treat animals with homeopathic remedies; either place the remedy in their water bowl, or syringe it into their mouths. Boost immunity with a tiny pinch of Beta Glucan powder, especially if they are fighting off an infection or abscess.
Detoxification - try homeopathic remedies to clear your animals of toxins, including the vaccine adjuvants (mercury, aluminum, formaldehyde, etc.) and flea/tick poison treatments. My older cat loves zeolite spray (Advanced TRS is the brand I use), and licks it off the palm of my hand. Another suggestion is algae pills for both nutritional support & detoxification.
Nutrition (supplements) - I highly recommend the Standard Process line of supplements for animals. The hepatic support pills will help support the liver & help your animals detoxify.
Nutrition (food) - I grew up with a depression-era grandmother who mirrored a lot of old school practices, such as root cellars, huge gardens, food preservation, stocked pantries, etc. And something I remember vividly is her weekly batch of homemade dog food on the stove. She used (organic) corn meal as a base, added in organ meats, meat scraps, carrots & vegetables, and cooked it into a thick porridge. If you have the time & inclination, a raw food diet may be best. But you could try homemade food, or be very careful with the pet food you buy, looking for GMO-free, byproduct-free and organic food wherever possible.
Flea/tick prevention - try lightly dusting your animals with food-grade diatomaceous earth powder, but do so outside & upwind so the flying powder doesn’t get everywhere
Holistic animal doctors - search out a holistic vet, whenever possible.
